Why are people that have harsh attitudes, strong wills, opinionated, domineering, hurtful, and sometimes downright evil have some of the most sensitive spirits and are easily offended?
Certainly I have speculated my own thoughts on this subject. What do you think?

I no several people like this. You offer then constructive criticism and they act like their dog just died.
ReplyDeleteI beleive that this type of people have an imbeded need for perfection. Somwhere somehow there was something that happened and/or someone told that person there was a lack of something in their lives. Certain standards either physically or through performance were not met and that led these people to believe that they were not good enough. So now these people set their own standards in their minds too high to ever meet, leaving them starving for compassion and love that even if given to them they cannot recognize because of their warped view of themselves. Due to sour reactions from other parties they traded their God given eyes in for a lie.
ReplyDeleteIn result they give off strong attitudes toward those that don't agree with them, have strong wills to meet the expectations set in their own minds no matter the cost, establish dominance over those that don't go with them, and then finally express hurtful actions/ words to extinguish any ideas that don't go along with what they believe in.
The common misconception is that these people have no love for others but the truth is they do but they don't know how to receive it nor do they have the right timing to display it to others. Its not that they don't want to accept what you are saying, they just don't know how.
These people need an incredible amount of patience and if Christian need A LOT of time for reflection with Jesus to change their twisted views/ ideas/ ways.
Don't be discouraged by their sensitivity, their just expressing something they have a hard time understanding.
