Death

At the end of your life people will best remember you for the relationships you had and the kind of person you were. What kind of person are you? Selfish or selfless or lukewarm (somewhere in between)?

Child Like

When we were children we found out that bad behavior and the truth got us into trouble.

During the developing of our young behaviors we worked out how to avoid the truth. We skewed, twisted, cut it into pieces, colored it gray, or just plain lied about it,or left out some details. All of which are lies and breed deception, manipulation, coercion, and controlling behaviors.

Some of us were trained in these skills by our peers, siblings, and parents. Some people have concluded that these behaviors are right for them because that just how things work in their world. All of these are selfish traits and doing things outside themselves is almost unthinkable.

Seek the truth and live a selfless life. This is a profound statement for some people. But they know deep down that this is true life. Its just not theirs.

This is why this proverb was written in my opinion.

Challenge

The lie is that life is about ourselves. Its really about everyone else. Learn HOW and WHY Jesus taught. Don't focus so much on the what. The "what" gets answered as you learn.

Disturbing traits

Why are people that have harsh attitudes, strong wills, opinionated, domineering, hurtful, and sometimes downright evil have some of the most sensitive spirits and are easily offended?

Certainly I have speculated my own thoughts on this subject. What do you think?
