They say when you pray to God, go to your alone place. So I went and this is what i saw.
This place was over an hour hike from my car. I put my bible in my pack along with some water. I went there for the sole purpose of spending time in prayer with God. I expected nothing but a view that might remind of the greatness of God. I was just sitting down when this site appeared. I wondered about what I was seeing. Is anyone else seeing this? I thought. The longer I remained in prayer the closer the sun came. After I had finished I stood to my feet and as I collected myself for the journey back the sun spot just disappeared. Maybe this was just a gift for me.
For a perspective, the pine tree next to the trail is 25 ft high. The hill I'm standing on is 165 ft above the water level. The sun spot stayed for over 25 minits coming closer to shore the longer it stayed.

Its been too long

Too long since my last post.
Some have the highest expectation of others while others have the highest expectations for themselves. When we fail ourselves--------shame on you that think only others fail you. When we fail ourselves we cant imagine the cost. Our hearts yield to failure and the promoter tries to win by keeping us down. It can be difficult to bring ourselves back up out of despair. Prayer to God for strength can and will bring us out of it. but we have to embrace it. Meet up with it. Our lives are to help others and to let others help us when they offer help. We cannot be effective leaders for those that need leadership if we allow failure to take a hold of us. Stand up and dust you feet off and get back on track as soon as possible.
Make no mistake of who is the evil force behind keeping us from God grace. It is satan.
He is the tempter and the promoter and the accuser. He tempts us to sin then he promotes it through our own selfish desires by saying things like, "just this once" or "nobody will know" or "you wont get caught". Then, after we commit the sin, he is right there being the accuser saying, "and you think you're a good person, look at what you did, God is not going to forget this one.".
He wants us to be separate from God. This is his last ditch effort to steal our souls from God.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Hebrews 8:12
For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."

Psalm 23:3
he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
