They say when you pray to God, go to your alone place. So I went and this is what i saw.
This place was over an hour hike from my car. I put my bible in my pack along with some water. I went there for the sole purpose of spending time in prayer with God. I expected nothing but a view that might remind of the greatness of God. I was just sitting down when this site appeared. I wondered about what I was seeing. Is anyone else seeing this? I thought. The longer I remained in prayer the closer the sun came. After I had finished I stood to my feet and as I collected myself for the journey back the sun spot just disappeared. Maybe this was just a gift for me.
For a perspective, the pine tree next to the trail is 25 ft high. The hill I'm standing on is 165 ft above the water level. The sun spot stayed for over 25 minits coming closer to shore the longer it stayed.

Buzz God God Buzz3

Continued from yesterday;
So we prayed that very prayer together. I said; "well i guess thats it." and he said; "yea thats it." I think we went to the bar or something like that to celebrate.

Some days after that I think I was sitting on the couch watching The Love Boat, I noticed......Pause; ok, lets give my friend a name. Mark. Mark is his name. Unpause;
noticed that Mark was still reading that bible.

I said; "what are you doing? Reading that bible?" Like watching the love boat was way better than reading a book. He said; "yea,I just want to look up some things I still had some question about."

So my friend Mark continued to read. And one by one all of our friends excepted Jesus as Lord and Savior into their lives. They new that they could trust us to tell them the truth so they believed.

It wasn't long after that that we started having Bible Studies. 10 of us or more at the bible study. We were studying Gods word drinking beer and some were passing joints around. We had a great time learning all of this new stuff together.

None of us read the same bible, but we were loving life. God was good to us. We could feel his presents and some said they felt his power. We learned to pray. We prayed together for hours sometimes.

There became a core group of four of us. And what happen next turned our lives right side up.

More tomorrow everybody.

Buzz God God Buzz2

Continued;
So he said that he could understand more of what he reads in the bible. So he reads and reads and reads for days and days. Until he comes across bible verse John 3:16. He then exclaimed; "this is it. This is what I think I am looking for". But he confesses that he needed to look into it some more to make sure he knows what he thinks he knows.

Ok then I waited for him to draw his conclusion. He then came to me and says; "I've got the answer. do you want to hear it?" Of course I said yes. So he explained it something like this.

"Well, you know who Jesus is right? Well, hes the son of God and he was killed by the people. But he let them do it see. Here is the thing, you have to say it. Like pray it. You have to say "Jesus you are the son of God and you died for my sins and I believe it so please help to live my life better. Thank you Jesus Amen."
And that's it. If you say that you're going to heaven. That is it!

So I believed him. My thoughts were that this guy has spent weeks figuring this out. He was my friend and he is not gonna lie to me. He doesn't want anything from me. He wants me to go to heaven if I were to die.

He said; "listen, you don't gotta do this. But if you were gonna die tomorrow wouldn't like to be sure that you are going to heaven? If you do this you don't have to worry about it again ever. Its simple, you got nothing to loose."

Side note for you readers. This was a very serious situation. My friend really really went through this vision. He tried to check himself into a mental institution. He told them that he thought he was going crazy. They told him if you think your going crazy then you probably aren't crazy. They said that people that go crazy don't know that they are. He then told them that they're probably right but if he still felt like this tomorrow that he would come back.

He was so concerned about me so I said I would do it. I thought this will at least make him feel better if he knows I'm going to heaven. I think that I'm going anyway.

He said; "I don't really know how to pray but I will do it with you if you want me to." I said; No, you can pray with me if you want to. I will just pray it out loud and if I leave anything out at the end you can fill in the blanks for me." He said; "ok".

I want you people to also note that they were no outside influences, no Christians, no pastors or churches involved in this story and that the events that I writing about are as they actually happen to the best of my recollection.

There is way more to write into this story, but I'm giving you the condensed version.
I will write more tomorrow.

Buzz God God Buzz

I met Jesus through a friend.

No lows in my life. I wasn't depressed or even looking for God. I was on top of the world. Great friends, good people, new and exciting life. I wasn't looking for God at all.

I was not the kind of person that could or would deny the truth. If it came to me somehow I excepted it. If I did someone wrong and they pointed me out, if it was the truth, I excepted the responsibility for it. However, I was not Mr. Righteousness. I lived in a gray world that for me was filled with the hope of what the future had for me and I was willingly to embraced it if it whenever it came along.

One day a friend came to me after he had a long bout of sorts with a drug that he used on occasion. He said God spoke to him for many many hours even after the effects of the drug had worn off. Then for days he considered this a vision and knew somehow that it was from God. So he researched to find the answers to questions that came to him through this vision. Having never read the bible before, he started reading a King James version bible that his grandmother left him after her death.

In his vision God never actually gave him all the answers that he had questions for. But God gave him enough in the vision to cause him to pursue the answers.

He read the bible for days and discovered that he didn't understand anything that it was saying. He said it felt like something was blocking his perception. So he called a friend and asked this friend to ask his mother (who was a christian) what he should do to try to understand the bible. She told him to pray in his heart to God and for God to reveal the words to him. That is exactly what he did.

My friend said that after praying, it was as if a cloud lifted out of his mind and he could understand a lot more than he could before.

So---continued tomorrow.

Born Again?

Which one will you take? The Blue Pill? Or the red Pill?

*Morpheus: I see it in your eyes. You have the look of a man who accepts what he sees because he is expecting to wake up. Ironically, that's not far from the truth. Do you believe in fate, Neo?
*Neo: No.
*Morpheus: Why not?
*Neo: Because I don't like the idea that I'm not in control of my life.
*Morpheus: I know *exactly* what you mean. Let me tell you why you're here. You're here because you know something. What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me. Do you know what I'm talking about?
*Neo: Maybe.
*Morpheus: Do you want to know what it is?
*Neo: Yes.
*Morpheus: It is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work... when you go to church... when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.
*Neo: What truth?
*Morpheus: That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else you were born into bondage. Into a prison that you cannot taste or see or touch. A prison for your mind.
I'm trying to free your mind, Neo. But I can only show you the door. You're the one that has to walk through it.

John 3:3
In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "

Titus 3:5
he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,

Mike Walker

Mike Walker lost his life Sunday morning in a tragic pit accident on Saturday.

Mike Walker, co-owner of Blake Housley's Pro Nitrous team, was warming up nitrous oxide bottles for the race when one exploded.

We extend our condolences to Mike's family and friends. I know that he will be greatly missed by many inside and outside the racing world.

God Speed Mike. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those effected by your loss.

Measuring Up

How you know what you're worth? When I decided to go into the field that work in, I didn't like that after my performance reviews my fellow coworkers would always ask me; "what did they give you" meaning how much of a raise did you get? I never wanted to know what other people got and I didn't want to tell them what I got.

People like to draw comparisons. They want to know about themselves and not how much you got. Or they want to see if the company is being fair.

There will always be someone better than me at my job and I will always be better in some ways than others. I will not gauge my performance by someone else's raise or lack of it. If feel that my raise wasn't enough (which I have only done once in my life) then I will tell them. It is up to them on how they need to handle all of the employees. And I have to trust that they are being fair to me and my family.

Know what your employers expectations are and exceed them wholeheartedly. And you'll never have to try to measure up to someone else.

Matthew 20:11-13

When they received it, they began to grumble against the landowner.'These men who were hired last worked only one hour,' they said, 'and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.'

"But he answered one of them, 'Friend, I am not being unfair to you. Didn't you agree to work for a denarius?
